We're now in search of a friendly and dependable Cook to join our private school cafe team in Braintree!

The Cook reports to the Chef Manager. Responsibilities include assisting the Chef with food prep, washing dishes, pots and pans and other equipment as assigned and maintaining a clean work environment.

Schedule

• 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm, Monday through Thursday*
• Occasional Fridays as needed*
• NO nights or weekends!*

Employment contingent upon passing a background / CORI check

Responsibilities :

• Prep food for daily service and / or catering
• Assist in packaging, plating and delivery for lunch services
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and / or pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Other duties of the Cook are assigned by the Chef Manager

Requirements :

• Previous kitchen experience preferred
• Must be dependable
