Nexclin Medicine is Hiring a Front Office Medical Assistant Near Roswell, GA

Job description

Nexclin Medicine offers comprehensive care for the total wellness of our patients. We provide family medicine services for the internal health and aesthetic services for the external beauty of our patients.

We are looking for a medical assistant with the following qualities.

  • Checking patients in/out
  • Knowledge and understanding of insurance
  • interacts professionally with patients and provides a welcoming environment
  • Checks voicemails throughout the day
  • check and manage online appointment scheduling
  • Insurance and account balance verification collection
  • Payment processing of co-pays, balances, payment plans, cash-pay services, supplements, memberships, and posting payments.
  • Politely handles a high volume of calls and assigns messages to providers accordingly
  • Scheduling patient appointments and following up on no-shows
  • Coordinate medical record requests and prior authorizations for Nexclin Medicine patients

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exhibits superior customer service and maintains a quality standard consistent with the goals of Nexclin Medicine
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Confidence in collecting payments
  • Must have a basic understanding of medical terminology and medical billing
  • Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must communicate professionally at all times with patients and providers
  • Dependable, punctual, organized, and flexible
  • 2 years of experience working in the front office in a medical practice

Requirements

- Previous experience working in a medical office environment.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Knowledge of insurances
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18:00 - $20:00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
