Staffing Coordinator - Pediatric and Women's Health Nursing Office - Part Time - Nights / NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital

The Pediatric and Women's Health Float Pool gives nurses the freedom to seek out and explore new specialties and patient experiences in their career. Staffing Coordinators partner with nurses to design a schedule that meets their lifestyle. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the overall staffing, including preparation of staffing sheets and reports, compilation of staffing data (i.e. overtime agency, per-diem usage and nursing care hours), and review of scheduling/communication with Patient Care Directors and Nurse Coordinators.

This is a part time night position from 11:30 p.m to 8 a.m. including every other weekend.

Preferred Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Staffing Coordinator experience in Healthcare

Required Criteria

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have one year of higher education (at the college or university level)
  • Minimum of one year administrative/clerical experience working in an office setting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
