Rehabilitation Aide - Weill Cornell Medical Center - Per Diem Days

As a Rehabilitation Aide, take part in the continuum of care in our acute inpatient rehabilitation settings. Assist in maintaining therapy areas by obtaining rehabilitation equipment and restocking medical linen and medical supplies. Transport patients, equipment and supplies as required and arrange for the escort of patients to Rehabilitation Medicine from in-patient floors. Under the supervision of the Head Therapist, assist the therapist with patients of all ages and diagnoses. 

Schedule: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, Mondays and consistent weekends with opportunity to work more shifts.

Preferred Criteria

• 1 year hospital experience.
• 1 year rehab medicine experience.

​Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures of rehabilitation medicine department.
• Knowledge of equipment and supplies required by rehabilitation medicine Department.
• Demonstrated interest in working with rehabilitation medicine patients.
