Operation Room Technician - Full Time - Day Shift

NYP/Queens has 20 state of the art ORs where all types of procedures are done including cardiac, neuro, ortho, and trauma. This is a Full Time Day Shift; 7AM - 5PM (37.5 hrs/wk; rotating weekends, holidays, and on call required) at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Queens located at 56-45 Main Street, Flushing, NY.

Required Criteria

• Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assisting

• High school diploma or GED

• Knowledge of Perioperative Nursing Practice & Patient Care
