Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Blood Bank - Per Diem Weekend Days

Conduct routine and complex tests on clinical specimens in the Blood Bank. Perform quality control procedures for all tests as dictated by policy and document all results plus follow-up on out of range results.

This is a Per Diem Blood Bank technologist position covering weekend shifts 8:00am - 7:00pm. Location is our Allen Hospital campus in Upper Manhattan/Inwood.

Preferred Criteria

• ASCP certification
• Minimum of two years experience as a Laboratory Technologist in Blood Bank

Required Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related health science field is required
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education Department
