The Opportunity

We are seeking a 40-hour Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support one of our Family Medicine offices. Weekly schedules consist of 32 hours of clinical time and 8 hours of administrative time. Our practice is located at 978 Worcester St. - Rte 9 East, Wellesley, MA 02482.

We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Administrative time can be remote or on-site based on the provider’s preference for allocation.

Our office provides care to a diverse population. APPs conduct physical examinations, routine health screenings, and preventative care for patients of all ages. The goal is to identify and control patients' health risk factors before they become problems. We diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and promote general health, disease prevention and overall well-being.

The APPs share panels with physicians to enhance practice operations, increasing patient volume and efficiency while providing excellent patient care and experience. This includes traditional primary care visits (both in-office and virtual) and same day sick appointments. This office is associated with a Newton Wellesley Walk-In location and this APP will have the opportunity to provide support in this clinic space as well. With this model, providers work autonomously to the top of their licensure while also functioning as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Certificate of registration from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner
• CPR (BLS) certification required
• Provider experience, particularly in a primary care setting, preferred
