Summary: | |||
A physical education, health and wellness teacher provides a developmentally appropriate educational program for students. The teacher is responsible for supervising students within the physical education/health classroom and/or gymnasium and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering instruction within established wellness/health curriculum guidelines; adjusting curricula to adapt to children with disabilities or different physical abilities; collaborating with other teachers, professional staff, and administrators to improve instruction; and engaging parents/guardians in conversations with regard to instructional programs and student progress. | |||
