SUMMARY :

This individual picks orders from incoming merchandise for restaurants and prepares it for delivery. This individual ensures all orders are properly picked so with strict adherence to our quality standards.

Items for pick orders are in coolers, warehouse, and freezer.

Schedule : 8 : 00AM-4 : 30PM

Pay : $16 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Primary responsibility is to ensure that all incoming deliveries are received and put away correctly and completely each day.

Accurately complete all quality control procedures and documents as part of the receiving process. (e.g., record temperatures, expiration dates, package conditions, etc.)

Complete all receiving documentation.

Record and report any discrepancies with shipments to supply office.

Perform all duties in the safest manner possible.

Report potential hazards and unsafe work conditions to team lead, lead hand, or manager.

Regular and timely attendance is a requirement for this position.

Perfil

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS :

Perform regular counts of stored materials.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping area, loading dock, and trash areas.

Complete the loss log for tracking spoiled or damaged inventory.

Adhere to shipping policies / procedures and regulatory compliance procedures.

At times assist and work in other areas as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

Previous experience required in supply, stocking, or order picking.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Must be able to count.

Be able to understand documents, such as purchase orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders.

Must be willing to work weekends.

Ability to work quickly and safely

Ability to show flexibility in working in various areas of the department

Ability to know how one’s performance affects the areas before and after you

Ability to read and speak to understand instructions from supervisors and co-workers.

Must be willing to work in a cold environment.

The employee must also regularly lift and / or move up to 40 pounds. The noise level may range from moderate to loud.
