Public Housing Occupancy Specialist

The Housing Authority of Newport is currently accepting resumes for the part-time position of Public Housing Occupancy Specialist. 

This individual will assist the manager in the day to day activities and will do so in compliance with local laws, State regulations and HUD regulations and guidelines.

This individual will maintain compliance with program rules and regulations; execute paperwork necessary for assistance; calculate tenant rents; document client files; perform data input; assist with other occupancy matters.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Excellent math and communication skills a must. Previous experience in Public

Housing and Low Income Housing Tax Credit programs a plus.
