Shift: 6am-2:30pm on a 4/2 rotating schedule
Duties
- Perform various medical procedures and tasks under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Assist with patient care and support in a medical setting
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Conduct catheter care and assist with urinary catheterization
- Collect blood samples through phlebotomy techniques
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the healthcare team
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living for patients with developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
Experience
- Minimum of [1] years of experience as a Medical Technician or similar role
- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience with electronic health record systems, such as Epic or similar platforms
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with hospice care principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medical documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
