Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized Treatment plan coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in explaining treatment and possess strong administrative and customer service skills. Some of your responsibilities will overlap with the front desk receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, the Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
Responsibilities:
- Create and present treatment plans to patients
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Register new patients and update existing patient information in the system
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect payments from patients and provide receipts
- Assist with various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is required
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Strong knowledge of medical administrative support functions, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and verifying insurance information
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Dentrix is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
