Position summary (General Purpose): Under administrative direction of the Quality Control Manager and Group Leader, the associate is responsible for daily data collection on target lines, monitoring of product quality characteristics and communication of these results to quality and production middle management.

Qualifications (Basic Knowledge, skills and abilities):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions
• Understanding of quality tools

Primary Position responsibilities:

• Verify QIP is taken daily on child parts daily and report any discrepancies
• Check Kaizen parts against associate results for compliance and accuracy
• Isolate and confirm suspect product line side
• Take and monitor data (Comp) LMI, report any non-conforming results
• Basic root cause analysis
• Assists in on-line investigations for product concerns
• Submits daily report to quality & production T/L, T/S
• Update and maintain PQCT’s and PFMEA’s
• NCR to the supplier
• Supplier PPAP
• Support New Model
• Any other projects as assigned by the Group Leader/Manager
