We have an immediate opening for an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction on site, ensuring timely completion within budget. Newman Midland Corp. was founded in 1992, specializing in public building construction such as schools, parks, labs, offices, etc., both TI and ground up.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities
- Oversee daily operations, manage company crews and subcontractors, ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, owner, and subcontractors
- Adhere to project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
- Monitor safety compliance and conduct regular safety meetings.
- Manage and resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during construction
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents
- Ensure compliance with codes & regulations, OSHA standards and labor compliance
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and progress reports

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent on public building projects
- Strong knowledge of construction management processes, procedures, and best practices
- Ability to interpret construction schedules and prepare lookahead schedules
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Computer proficient with software systems including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project or Primavera , Adobe, etc.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols with a minimum of OSHA 10 Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $83,200.00 - $98,800.00 per year
