Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in a medical setting, ensuring efficient operations and excellent patient care.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately and confidentially
- Verify insurance information and process payments
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks as needed
- Handle medical scheduling for procedures and tests
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn software.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a medical office a plus.
Beneficial Skills:
- Proficiency in managing medical records and phone systems
- Previous experience as in medical administrative support
