Automation Sales

• Primary Duties
  • Generation of automation sales proposals & estimates in concert with Newcomb and Company’s mission statement
  • Assist the Vice President to develop and maintain relationships with potential customers for sales generation
• Administrative duties
  • Identify and research potential clients
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Coordinate with Vice President to develop mutually beneficial proposals
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients
  • Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed
  • Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
  • Make and give presentations to prospective clients and department
  • Track, identify and add qualified prospective clients
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
  • Track and report on the status of proposal components through the CRM platform
  • Conduct ongoing market research
  • Work with Vice President to create rate proposals
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts
• Required skills
• Command of technical language involved with automation and mechanical systems
• Understanding of the automation process
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Even temperament and good judgement
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills (striving for win-win)
• Understands and executes “completion”
