Description:

Provide ESY Special Education services for qualified students in a classroom, small group tutoring, and individual tutoring.

Requirements: 

Current Oregon teaching license with Handicapped Learner or Special Education endorsement and experience with special needs students. Orton Gillingham trained. Ability to communicate with students and families.

Qualifications Desired:

Experience providing specially designed instruction to a wide-range of special needs. Bilingual Spanish.

Classification/Location:

Classified, Temporary, Part-time position at Edwards Elementary.

Summer Work Days:

Part time (8:00am – 3:30pm) for 16 days; Monday – Thursday July 5, 2024 through August 2, 2024, 2 days additional time for training. (Actual working hours may vary, final schedule TBD at a later date). EMPLOYMENT CONTINGENT ON ENROLLMENT AND GRANT FUNDING. Paid Per Diem by timesheet in accordance with 2023-24 Salary Schedule.
