Start Date: As soon as possible after hire

Description: Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch. Provide a safe environment. Problem-solve with students and administer first aid when necessary. 

Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Medic first aid card (or ability to possess one soon after hire). Must enjoy working with students. Experience supervising groups of students in unstructured environments. Dependable and punctual. Able to work with students and staff to create positive interactive experiences for student and able to supervise students in a fair, firm, consistent, non-confrontational manner. Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with district staff, students, and parents. Employment contingent upon fingerprinting and proof of COVID-19 vaccination or exception upon hire.

Qualifications Desired: Experience working with elementary-aged students. Bilingual/Spanish speaking.

Classification/Location: Classified, Part-Time, Temporary Position, Ewing Young Elementary

Hours/Days: 2 hours per day when school is in session

Wage: $15.40 - $19.59 per hour (Range 6 of the 2022-2023 Classified wage scale)
