New York Wire Works is Hiring a Maintenance Person Near York, PA
New York Wire Works is looking for a responsible, Part-Time Maintenance Team Member for our property. We are looking for a knowledgeable and skillful individual become a part of our maintenance division.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Completing work orders and turnovers per company standards.
- Performing repairs, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for a mixed use commercial property.
- Landscaping and facility clean up
Qualifications:
- Is able to perform a variety of general maintenance tasks.
- Proficient with a variety of hand and power tools commonly used in construction and maintenance.
- Communicates effectively and tactfully with co-workers and residents of the facility with a positive attitude and strong customer service orientation. Must act in a professional manner.
- Must provide references.
Physical Demands
- Heavy lifting
- Must be able to climb ladders, stairs
- We are a drug-free workplace.
- Must have night/weekend/on-call availability in case of emergency.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
