University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment.
The Workplace Experience Facilities Coordinator will schedule required maintenance and office repair work and implement safety and security protocols to create a safe working environment for NYU’s University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) staff. Serve as the primary point of contact for all UDAR facilities matters. Responsible for coordinating schedules and logistics with NYU’s Leased Space Manager for vendor repair work and maintenance. Daily facility management includes but is not limited to troubleshooting unexpected issues, proactive room checks, calendaring and room set-ups, space utilization assessments, building access, security, and office-wide communications as required to uphold continuity of office operations. Assist the Manager of Workplace Experience in the upkeep of a clean well-maintained 39,000 square foot office space that positively contributes to workplace culture and provides a best-in-class workplace experience for staff.

Required Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:3 years experience in customer service, workplace management, project management and/or a combination of education and experiencePreferred Experience:Experience in a higher education or non-profit environmentRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

Superior organization, time management, and attention to detail
Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office suite, and data entry functions
Working Conditions: The Facilities Coordinator may be walking or standing for prolonged periods of time during working hours while traversing the office floor
Physical Requirements: Applicants must be in good health and must have and retain physical strength, including the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs., physical stamina, and agility, visual and auditory acuity to perform the essential responsibilities of this position
Applicants must be able to operate departmental equipment, including step stools, hand trucks, and carts to unpack, store, and organize ordered inventory items
Ability to work various shifts beyond standard daytime, including evenings, nights, and/or weekends to meet department needs when applicablePreferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Agile and creative thinking approach to problem solving
Excellent collaboration and team building skills

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $67,500.00 to USD $82,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
