Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Scheduler. As a Production Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of our products. This position requires strong analytical skills, supply chain knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate with various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production management, plant management, and supply chain to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and propose solutions for continuous improvement
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components
- Conduct regular meetings with production teams to communicate schedule changes, priorities, and any potential issues
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and other relevant data
- Collaborate with the sales team to align production schedules with customer orders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Skills:
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices
- Knowledge of production planning and scheduling techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using scheduling software or ERP systems
