We are seeking a skilled AS400 Programmer Analyst with expertise in utilizing code generators, specifically Plex or Synon. This individual will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining custom AS400 applications to meet business needs.
Responsibilities:

• Utilize code generators, specifically Plex or Synon, to streamline development processes.
• Write, modify, and test code to ensure the functionality and performance of AS400 applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand system requirements.
• Analyze and design AS400 applications using best practices and industry standards.
• Integrate AS400 applications with other systems as needed.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing AS400 applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of integrated systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (nice to have).
• Proven experience as an AS400 Programmer Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in using code generators, specifically Plex or Synon.
• Proficient in RPG IV, CL, and SQL programming languages.
• Experience with AS400 development tools and utilities.
• Knowledge of database design and optimization on the AS400 platform.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
