Position Description:
The Rome City School District is seeking an innovative, creative, dynamic, and highly qualified educational leader to serve as its Superintendent of Schools. The successful candidate will be a problem solver, with strong communication skills; and will have an established record of success in engaging and bringing together students, staff and community members from a wide range of life experiences and backgrounds. The District serves approximately 5,225 students, employs approximately 1,500 employees, and has an annual operating budget of approximately $145,870,000.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess School District Administrator (SDA) or School District Leader (SDL) certification; and must have prior work experience as a school superintendent or substantial prior work experience as a school district administrator.

Salary Range:
$200,000-$230,000 based on education, qualifications, and experience.
