Position Description:
The Superintendent of Schools/Principal will be a strong, effective leader who will use their broad experience to work with the Board of Education and district stakeholders to create and execute a collaborative vision for the district.
Search Timeline

• Jan. 26, 2024 - Deadline for submission of application and supporting materials
• February 2024 - First round of interviews (this phase has the potential to be confidential)
• March 2024 - Constituent groups will interview finalists (information about this phase will be shared with the public)
• April 2024 - Board of Education appoints new superintendent
• July 1, 2024- Candidate assumes duties

Qualifications:
Our next Superintendent/Principal will be someone who:

• Effectively communicates with honesty and integrity and shares information in a timely, transparent way.
• Builds strong relationships, is open-minded, and exhibits excellent listening skills.
• A strong leader who is decisive, fair, and able to unite a wide range of stakeholders around a shared vision for the district.
• Prioritizes the safety of students and actively secures the building and grounds.
• Is an experienced administrator with success in budget management, as well as past experience teaching in the classroom.
• Understands the needs of a small, rural community.

Residency
District residency is preferred but not required.

Salary Range:
Up to $143,000
