Position Description:
The Addison Central School District Board of Education is seeking an outstanding educational leader to fill the position of Superintendent of Schools.
Approximately 1,047 pre-kindergarten through twelfth-grade students are served in Addison’s three school buildings by 234 long-term dedicated staff members (123 instructional). Valley Early Childhood School serves our PreK students. Tuscarora Elementary houses our students in grades K-5. Students in grades 6-8 and 9-12 attend our Middle High School.
The 2023-24 operating budget for the Addison Central School District is $35,603,118. The true value tax rate per $1,000 is $15.30. The school district receives 78.8 cents in state aid for every $1.00 spent.
The district has undergone major facility additions and renovations to provide students with 21st century academics and athletics through a phased approach long-term facilities plan. Phase I included $28.4 million in work and was completed in 2011. Phase II included $22.9 million in work and was completed in 2016. Phase III included $22.9 million in work and was completed in 2020. Phase IV, our Capstone Project, includes $23.9 million in work and is expected to be completed in September 2024.

Salary Range:
a base salary of $155,000 that will be commensurate with experience
