Job Title: Assistant Supervisor

Department: Reefer

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 7PM-4AM

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walkthroughs to confirm department is suitable for daily operations while also meeting all safety guidelines

• Establish and enforce current company policies and procedures

• Maintain warehouse reports

• Communicate and lead associates in projects

• Maintain warehouse safety

• Provide appropriate equipment and racking to ensure the safe transport and storage of all materials

• Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse

• Put received material to bulk or pick locations

• Ensure employees ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations

• Counsel, record and follow progressive discipline protocols when necessary

• Determine proper storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facilities

• Delegate job assignments and monitor work performance

• Communicate with company and 3rd party drivers

• Keep accurate records on the use and/or damage of stock and stock handling equipment

• Provide assistance and/or direction to other warehouse or freezer workers

• Collaborate with other department personnel

• Use fully functioning warehouse equipment (i.e. Forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts, etc.) to drop and move freight throughout warehouse, while maintaining all safety and company procedures

Qualifications

• OSHA Certification to operate a Forklift

• Experience in working with RF Funs and Barcode System

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Detailed-oriented with excellent organization skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Ability to schedule containers on a daily basis

• Ability to communicate with workers, supervisors, and operations

• Ability to communicate with export department and purchasing

• Ability to understand software (S2K)

• Understanding of transferring of products of REDOCK

• Communicate with supervisors in various departments

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Daily discipline and the ability to prioritize, which allows the individual to dominate their daily checklist

• Professionalism, accountability, accuracy, and integrity

• Ability to work and cooperatively with others

• Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
