The NYISO’s Legal department invites applications for a full-time attorney.
The successful candidate will become a member of a highly-qualified team of professionals in an exciting, innovative and ever-changing environment. This individual will work collaboratively with internal clients, providing legal support on issues such as the design and implementation of the NYISO’s capacity markets. This individual will provide legal support and advice on the administration of NYISO tariff requirements and in the stakeholder process. This individual will also prepare tariff filings and pleadings that are submitted to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), be responsible for preparing other types of legal documents, and advise NYISO clients on applicable regulatory requirements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to perform routine office tasks. WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Contact with staff and public will occur. Travel may be required to attend and/or conduct meetings, conferences and training. This position may require work on nights, weekends or holidays.
