New York Hemp Oil started as a small vegetable farm in Upstate New York 12 years ago has blossomed into a trailblazer in the emerging NYS cannabis industry—we’ve grown to become licensed cannabis farmers and processors, producing dozens of products for our in-house brands, all while honoring our history rooted in regenerative farming and building up community. We still grow the best certified organic veggies around and sell them through our CSA and at farmers’ markets.

Job Summary

We are looking for Production Associates to join our manufacturing team. Currently, we are recruiting professionals to join our edibles, pre-rolls, concentrates, and packaging teams. This is a cGMP, disciplined, highly regulated, fast-paced, clean-room manufacturing environment. Successful candidates hold themselves to a high professional standard and take pride and accountability in their work.

Responsibilities & Focus

• Meet or exceed daily production goals
• Works to complete final product assembly according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Manage time to maximize productivity
• Follow SOPs for downstream product assembly machines and processes.
• Associates have data tracking and documentation responsibilities and accountability for their work, including materials used, task time, waste, and counts of finished product outputs from your station.
• Depending on your area, common tasks may include: operating filling machines, labeling machines, or other semi-automated technologies; tipping pre-rolls; hand applying stickers and labels, tamper-evident seals or shrink wrapping; boxing; counting; gramming or ouncing bulk product into containers.
• Maintain a sterile work environment by following all cleaning protocols, GMP and personal PPE requirements.
• Keep all personal belongings, including cell phones, outside of production environment.
• Be personally accountable for your compliance; follow the rules!
• Maintains a safe work environment.

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
