In this role you will:
- Manage patient Intakes (Record accurate patient information)
- Follow all NYH policies and procedures
- Collect and process lab specimens, perform venipuncture, flu/covid/strep testing
- Perform audiometry testing, spirometry, PFTS, nebulizer treatments, urine tests
- Measure and record patients' vital signs
- Prepare patients for examinations
- Sterilize medical equipment and instruments
- Provide assistance to physicians during examinations
- Perform venipuncture & Point of care testing
- Administer EKGs
- Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma at least 1 year of experience.
- Bi/Lingual, English/Spanish speaking preferred.
- Proficient in Word/Excel
