Job Description

• Complete minor home repairs in the categories of carpentry, plumbing, electric, masonry, and weatherization in the homes of older adults (age 60 ) to help them stay safe and independent within their homes.
• Perform safety assessment audits of client homes and educate clients on repairs to ensure their safety within their homes (i.e. grab bars, tack down rugs, etc.)
• Repairs take place in client residences throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Trained in general home maintenance.
• Must have High School diploma or GED
• Experience in working with older adults (age 60 )
• Must have your own tools (client's supply the supplies needed to make the repairs)
• Must have a valid drivers license and your own vehicle to travel to and from the homes of clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,500.00 per year
