Community Engagement Coordinator - with the New York Council of Nonprofits, Inc. (NYCON)

Job Summary:
The Community Engagement Coordinator is an hourly, full-time position responsible for supporting the daily program operations of BoardStrong and providing customer relationship management (CRM)/membership support to the membership department of NYCON. The position reports to the Director of BoardStrong and VP of Marketing & Communications at NYCON. Candidates who are self-motivated, flexible and excited by working on a variety of projects are preferred.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

Job Type: hourly, full-time (35 hours per week), non-exempt
Education: high school diploma; some college preferred
Qualifications: Commitment to NYCON and BoardStrong’s missions of advancing nonprofit organizations. Self-motivated, detail oriented and familiar and confident with a variety of technology platforms (including comfortable with learning new technology as required). Salesforce and/or WordPress experience a plus.
Salary: $24.73 per hour, 35 hours per week
Location: Based at NYCON offices in Menands with telework options (up to 4 days per week after initial orientation) and flexible schedule are available.
