The New York Butcher Shoppe of Colleyville is coming early June 2024!

We are seeking a full-time Butcher. This is a premier full-service butcher shop and so much more. We offer superior customer service to match our quality products from Certified Angus Beef, outstanding wine selection, and an array of ready to eat in-house prepared meals and sides.

Responsibilities

• Process meat cuts according to portions and business standards
• Oversee inventory levels and quality control
• Maintain cutting equipment functionality
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are met including proper storage of meats
• Accurately estimate meat weight during cutting
• Knowledge of a wide variety of cuts and meats
• Work with customers to help them select meat

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a butcher/meat cutter
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ability to work with and coordinate with a team to ensure success
• Able to work in a cold environment for long periods of time
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential to interact with customers and employees

Store Hours

We are open 10am-7pm Monday through Saturday and 12pm-5pm on Sunday.

***Must have ability to work weekends***
