The Clinical Reviewer conducts documentation reviews, assesses service needs, and assigns levels of care to CHFS committed youth in or at risk of out-of-home placement and monitors cases for quality improvement issues as they relate to the out-of-home placements. The Clinical Reviewer is a positive team player that promotes a culture of inclusion and participation.

Required Education and Experience

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or other behavioral health field
• Experience with case conceptualization, mental health diagnoses, and service planning/delivery
• Licensed or certified mental health practitioner in KY
• Valid driver’s license, reliable operating transportation, and proof of current auto insurance

• Review and assign a level of care for initial levels of care, utilization reviews, reassignments, and redeterminations and enter data related to level of care assignment into the CRP database
