New Story Management is Hiring a Senior Director of Educational Operations - Now Hiring Near Delaware, OH

New Story School in Ohio is seeking a qualified Senior Director of Educational Operations to serve as the highest administrator in the region and is responsible for assisting the Senior Vice President in all aspects of regional leadership and management of New Story Schools Ohio, including but not limited to enacting the organizational mission and vision, oversight of educational program goals and outcomes, meeting financial goals, managing human resources, and building and guiding the professional culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work toward the strategic direction of the organization. Plan for efforts to achieve the strategic outcomes of organizational health, growth, and financial strength.
  • Supervise the Ohio Leadership team in a manner that promotes success, efficiency, and ongoing development. 
  • Develop and maintain a culture that embodies New Story Schools' values and brings the mission/vision to life. The culture should be characterized by a welcoming atmosphere in which respect, disciplined behavior, hard work, and high achievement is expected of all students and staff. 
  • Provide high quality, time, and effective communication from New Story Schools leadership to staff, students, executive team, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Determine staffing requirements for organizational management and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance measures and provide an ongoing assessment to ensure the provision of quality instruction and services.
  • Develop ideas and submit proposals for program development and expansion opportunities. Conduct research and needs assessment to determine the potential for expansion.
  • Develop and implement strategies to motivate staff to meet high-performance expectations, instill high ethical standards, and create an atmosphere of teamwork and motivation.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of operational policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with referral sources and other community networks. Represent New Story Schools to the external community.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources team to ensure recruiting needs are met, employment legal requirements comply, and ongoing HR administration needs of employees are addressed.
  • Collaborate with SVP regarding significant financial matters, contracts/lease agreements, proposals, and expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department to increase visibility within the community. 
  • Participate in the development of the annual budget and ensure operation with the approved budget, ensuring maximum resource utilization. 
  • Travel regularly to regional school locations.

Preferred
  • 10 years experience in a school environment with children with learning and behavioral challenges; 5 years of which were in a leadership position.

Education

Required
  • Masters or better in School Administration and Supervision or related field
