New Star Properties is a Londonderry (NH) based property management team that supports condominium associations, multifamily, and commercial investors. Continued company growth has introduced a need for another maintenance technician to join our maintenance operations team. A seasoned maintenance technician with experience in community operations is needed. You will be responsible, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, for the overall day to day maintenance of the buildings, facilities and associated properties in addition to the day‐to‐day maintenance operations for the community needs.

Although the position calls for a wide range of maintenance and repair skills, we are particularly interested in you and your ability to possess some carpentry skills with the capability of completing independent work.

This position requires you to supply your own general tools as well as a van or truck capable of carrying tools and an extension ladder. New Star provides the ladders as well as compensates for mileage at government rates.

This is a full time position with requirements for an individual skilled in routine maintenance including:

· Framing & finish carpentry

· Plumbing (i.e. installation of slop sinks and toilet repair)

· Roofing (traditional shingles, rubber roof repairs, etc.)

· Basic masonry (i.e. step repair)

· Wallboard repairs

· Clean & neat painting

Siding repairs

· Grounds work such as grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping

· Willingness to serve in an "on-call" rotation for emergencies (about 1 week every 6 weeks)

· Coordinate special projects as directed

· Ideally, you have some capability with computers, as well as minor report and record management (keeping track of work orders)

Work site locations vary from the greater Manchester/Londonderry/Salem & Concord area and the Lakes Region. Compensation ranges from $25-$32/hour.
