Duties:
- Provide beahvioral tech work in a residential detox and substance abuse treatment center.
- Implement rules and procedures for clients and staff. MAking sure clients go to groups and therpay sessions.
- Take notes during the shift and at the end to inform other staff how the clients are day to day.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Drive to support meetings.
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to teach new skills and reduce problem behaviors
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients
Skills:
- Experience working withsubstance abuse recovery
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles
- Ability to collect and analyze data accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
