New River Hearing and Balance is Hiring a Clinical Audiologist Near Radford, VA

New River Hearing and Balance, Inc is a private, busy medical and dispensing practice that has been
serving the residents of the New River Valley and its surrounding communities for almost two decades.
We are dedicated to providing the highest level of audiological care and services to all patients who have
hearing loss or balance problems. Our speciality is hearing and balance healthcare.

We serve the pediatric to geriatric population. We have strong relationships with a multiple ENT practice and an established referral base with local family practice physicians.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Seeking a motivated and collaborative Audiologist to join our team of dedicated
professionals. Are you passionate about providing the best patient care as part of a growing team? The successful
candidate will be patient-focused, enthusiastic and compassionate. Responsibilities include providing a full range of
diagnostic and rehabilitative services to best suit the patient’s needs.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION:

  • Licensure in Virginia Audiology and Dispensing required.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess strong, clinical interest and maintain versatility, creativity and adaptability.
  • Strong interest and experience in amplification technology.
  • Continued desire to learn through CE training.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle patients effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Strong compassion, care, and respect for patients, colleagues and medical professionals.
  • Experience performing hearing evaluations, hearing aid selection and fittings to both pediatric and adult populations.

Diagnostic services include:

  • Pediatric and Adult Hearing Evaluations, Fittings,
  • VNG, ABR, VEMPs, Ecogh, and OAEs.
  • REAL EAR, Cerumen Removal, and Veterans C & P Evaluations, VCCN, RHRP,

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Consider PT or FT candidates, PT at least 3 days a week.

Hours are Monday-Friday-8:30-5:30 in Radford, VA.

  • Master's degree in Audiology required. AuD in Audiology preferred.
