We are currently hiring for the 1st and 2nd Shift Steel Production Associates in our Alsip, IL plant. This is a direct hire opportunity with career growth potential and amazing benefits package.

As a Steel Production Associate, you can expect to work the following:

• First Shift- Monday thru Friday 6 am - 2 pm plus overtime
• Second Shift- Monday thru Friday 1:45 pm - 9:45 pm plus overtime

*Schedules are subject to change to meet customer and production demands*

Steel Production Associate Job Duties:

• Reviews production schedule and work orders to determine next jobs to be processed on the banding line and the requirements of each job.
• Identifies and reports any inaccuracies or problems detected in the schedule or work order.
• Communicates with team members in a respectful and professional manner.
• Inspects all product to ensure it meets or exceeds quality expectations and reports any defects/discrepancies.
• Coordinates schedule/sequence of banding and packaging activities to maintain workflow to minimize bottlenecks and meet shipping requirements.
• Maintain a safe work area and reports safety problems or unsafe conditions.
• Maintains work area clear of debris and tripping hazards.
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary to upgrade and maintain the safe, efficient operation of the plant.

Prior experience as a Steel Production Associate is required.
