Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to determine accurate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide medication management and prescribe appropriate psychotropic medications when necessary.
• Offer individual and group therapy sessions to address emotional and behavioral issues.
• Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in psychiatric and behavioral health care practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records for each patient.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical services.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with specialization in psychiatric-mental health.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification.
• Previous experience in outpatient psychiatric or behavioral health settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and their potential side effects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
