Overview:
We are seeking a fully licensed clinician (LCSW, LCMHC) to join our team here and provide outpatient therapeutic services at New Moon Counseling and Wellness, PLLC. An ideal candidate would be empathetic, energetic, have a passion for social justice, and maintain an ability to connect with patients in a meaningful and significant capacity. Candidates should be comfortable with maintaining timely note-keeping and treatment plans for patients. This position can be hybrid, virtual, or in person, depending on what the candidate would prefer; our in-person office is located in Fuquay Varina, NC.
Duties:
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients in an outpatient setting
- Maintain weekly/biweekly/monthly appointments with clients as appropriate
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment
- Engage in collaborative care with other providers when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary
- Work with patients' families when appropriate and/or necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling)
- Previous experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping
- Understanding of crisis intervention techniques
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities
