Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) with the understanding that the candidate be successfully enrolled in a nursing Master's degree program (MSN) within a one year from date of hire and complete that degree within five years. Earned graduate degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred. All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution. Candidates must have a minimum of two years clinical experience and must obtain or have a current New Mexico or multi-state nursing license in good standing. Prior successful teaching experience at the college level preferred. Candidates should be able to work within a team teaching concept. Computer proficiency required with skill in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Canvas proficiency desirable.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.This is a nine month exempt position. Salary is based on the NMJC faculty salary schedule which is commensurate with education and teaching experience. Annual salary includes a Body of Work stipend of $25,000.
