Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. Your responsibilities will include administrative tasks, medical record management, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records systems
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Support medical staff with administrative tasks as needed

Skills:

-Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal/written)
- Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
