New London Local School Dist is Hiring a Kindergarten Teacher Near London, OH
New London Local Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at New London Elementary School.. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession and proficient in incorporating elements from the science of reading into their teaching approach. The Kindergarten Teacher will play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for young learners.
Responsibilities:
Implement Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession to ensure high-quality education for kindergarten students.
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Ohio Academic Content Standards, with a focus on literacy skills grounded in the science of reading.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of each child.
Use effective classroom management strategies to create a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.
Collaborate with other educators and parents to create a supportive community for students.
Conduct ongoing assessments to track students' progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Valid Ohio teaching license for Early Childhood Education.
Strong understanding of the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession.
Knowledge and application of the science of reading principles in literacy instruction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment for young children
