New Life Ministries is looking for reliable team members who are interested in growing with our ministries and helping create a positive work environment and positive environment for the women we serve.

We are looking for women who genuinely enjoy working with others and helping people. In this role, you will help be the eyes and ears of the Women's Life House. You will work with residents to help provide a safe place for women at a crossroads in their life.

The Women's Life House is a transitional housing program for adult women. This program is part of New Life Ministries, a faith-based, nonprofit that serves those in need of food, shelter, and a purpose-filled life.

Duties and Description:

• Respect resident’s confidentiality and don’t give out any information concerning residents.
• Be sensitive to cultural diversity and be respectful of residents.
• You must know all the rules and guidelines and observe them.
• You must be able to go up and down stairs.
• Lock and unlock entry doors. Check the back door locks.
• Answer the house phone and take messages.
• Make sure phones and other electronics are locked up at lights out.
• Check all bags, purses, backpacks etc., whenever residents come back from anywhere.
• Keep the office clean: sweep, mop, dust if needed.
• Must attend staff meetings when needed.
• Turn in a detailed, daily report of what has happened on your shift.
• Must remain drug, narcotics, and alcohol free. All staff must adhere to a drug test when called to.

Qualifications:

• Must be a professing Christian (this is a faith-based, Christian ministry).
• Must always be willing to learn and grow.
• Must work well with others.
• Must be able to communicate well.
• Must be reliable.

Expected Schedule:

• Sundays - 12:00pm-5:00pm
• Mondays - 9:00am-3:00pm
• Thursdays - 3:00pm-10:00pm
• Fridays - 9:00am-3:00pm
• Saturdays - 9:00am-3:00pm

Note: The expected schedule is subject to change but at this time, this is the scheduled shift expected for this position.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Every weekend
• Morning shift
