Teacher(Posting #113-24)The Department of Children and Families, Office of Education has an immediate need for a Teacher at the Cumberland Campus located in Vineland, NJ. Under the direction of the Supervisor of Educational Programs or Assistant Supervisor of Educational Programs, the Teacher plans, executes, and evaluates the lessons and educational experiences of the assigned pupils, class or classes; exercising independent judgement and with a comprehensive knowledge of department rules, regulations and policies; does other related duties as required. Please note that schools within OOE have a 12-month school year.SPECIAL NOTE: Experience teaching special needs and/or at-risk students is preferred.REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION: Position requires possession of a valid standard teacher certification or valid Certificate of Eligibility (CE) or Certificate of Eligibility with advanced Standing (CEAS) issued by the NJ Department of Education, in one or more of the following subject content areas: * Health & P.E.LICENSE: Possession of valid Standard Certificate issued by the State Board of Examiners of the New Jersey Department of Education with an endorsement in subject area(s) determined appropriate by the Appointing Authority.
