Overview:
Our diverse, fast-paced and growing non-profit organization seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who can deliver primary medical care to a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidate will be comfortable providing general and preventative care, conducting check-ups, treating illnesses, ordering lab tests and prescribing medication for both children and adults. Ideal candidates will have experience in maintaining accurate and current patient records as required by the agency and State of CT. The successful candidate will work as a team with our clinicians and staff to ensure the agency is delivering premium care to each and every patient. Must have Valid and current License to practice. Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories and conducting physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Administer medications, including injections, as prescribed by physicians
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment plans
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in medical treatments, technologies, and best practices

Requirements:
- Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in the state of [STATE]
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (e.g., Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist)
- Experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and best practices
- Ability to perform basic life support procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
