The Care Advisor is a member of the care team responsible for the day-to-day coordination and administration of duties for the local branch office. Providing continued support to the Human Resources and Employment Development teams; Fielding client calls, schedules and documentation. Demonstrating the agency’s culture of compassion, accountability, and results by displaying the highest standards of integrity, service, and exceptional client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Care Management team to deliver an excellent experience at every interaction
Receive and process calls from potential clients, care providers, family members, hospital staff and other medical professional staff
Present a professional appearance and promote positive work environment
Create, maintain and update client files
Serve as a team member and share in an on-call rotation with other members of the care team to service clients
Coordinate with the Training Specialist and Scheduling staff to assess new hire schedules, abilities and training needs
Serve as point of contact for staff, providing assistance and information
Comply with all agency policies and procedures, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
Provide support for New Horizons offices in all Northern Locations: Albany, Salem, Florence, Eugene and Roseburg
Salary: $22-24/HR DOE
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years office experience in a healthcare related field
Education and/or experience in Healthcare administration
Self-starter who knows how to identify opportunities with recommended solutions
Creative problem-solving skills
Possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with diverse populations
Ability to multi-task and stay calm in a fast paced environment while ensuring attention to detail
Ability to work as a team player in high stress situations with a positive work ethic
Strong computer skills in business applications
