New Horizons for Children/Center For Autism and Related Services is Hiring a Behavior Supervisor (Case Manager) - BID - HIRING NOW! LA and Valley Areas! Near North Hollywood, CA

Center for Autism and Related Services (CARS) is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Behavior Supervisors for a full-time position focused on Applied Behavior Analysis for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis and other developmental disorders within the school and home setting.

Starting at $28-33 or higher depending on experience.

Location: Los Angeles

This is an exciting opportunity to:

  • Gain expertise in the delivery of cutting edge, evidence-based interventions for individuals with ASD and other developmental disorders.
  • Be an integral member of a collaborative team
  • Complete necessary clinical documentation including treatment plans and progress notes
  • Train staff and/or family members directly ( i.e., in person, with opportunities for questions, discussion, etc. ) on the implementation of the behavior support plan
  • Conduct treatment fidelity assessments to ensure proper implementation of the behavior support plan.
  • Ensures coordination of care with the consumer’s teacher, OT, Speech Therapist, and all involved in the student’s Individual Educational Plans (IEPs).

Position Requirements: Must have a Masters degree in psychology, behavior analysis, child development or a related field. Training and clinical experience in providing applied behavior analysis to children and families. Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities preferred. Analytical skills necessary in order to synthesize a variety of clinical and social data to determine appropriate treatment plan and monitor effectiveness of treatment programs. Clinical supervisory experience preferred.

  • Experience developing positive behavior support plans and programs; experience teaching social interaction, behavioral management skills, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively as a team member, demonstrate flexibility and desire to learn new skills and improve professional qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time
