Overview:
- New Horizon Landscaping started with a goal; to provide high-quality landscaping and maintenance to Lincoln and surrounding areas. We offer every facet of landscaping from Hardscapes, Softscapes, Design, Drainage Correction, Grading, Mowing, Fertilizer, and Commercial Maintenance, Snow Removal.
Role:
- Landscaping Crew Lead (Softscape or Hardscape depending on your qualifications.)
What you are responsible for:
Directly report to your Manager daily with job details, from the Division Manager, Office Manager, Owner or Director of Operations.

- Assisting with the building, developing, and supervising of your team
- You will be assigned to your specific projects under your supervisor and expected to communicate regularly.
- We are a busy company so even the Managers and Owner work on projects so being self-sufficient is a priority.
- Maintain communication with our designer or managers on alternative plant materials as needed.
- Assist in planning general landscape crew weekly and seasonal activities
- Safety is our main concern, ensure all employees are practicing safe habits on the job site.
- Manage and maintain assigned equipment, supplies, and materials
- Ensure planned tasks are completed by the team within the time allotted and within budget
- Ability to act on the "fly" when jobs changes arise.
- Interact with clients to provide an exceptional customer service
- Operate a variety of mechanical equipment used to install your project.
What we are looking for:New Horizon Landscaping does not require any specific level of education or certifications other than that which is required to perform specific tasks such as chemical applications and the knowledge and skills that will empower you to deliver professional services that exceed our client's expectations. We appreciate formal education, but we know that you may have gained your experience, skills, and knowledge as an independent learner and through hands-on experience. - Drivers license with an insurable driving record
- 6-month minimum Experience - We will train the right person.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Equipment experience - Small engine or Medium duty (Skidsteer, MT, Dingo etc..)
- Ability to lift 60lbs.
- Ability to read and understand landscape plans
What your compensation and benefits would look like...
- Compensation is commensurate with your experience and the knowledge and skills you bring to the position starts at $19-24 hourly.
