New Horizon Family Health Services is Hiring a Purchasing Clerk - Part Time Near Greenville, SC

Job Description:

New Horizon Family Health Services (NHFHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that has been improving the health of the communities we serve since 1992. Details:

  • Under the direction of the Controller, the purchasing clerk is responsible for administrative tasks related to the purchasing of equipment and supplies for all locations, maintaining the minor equipment inventory database, and supplying all locations with clinical and office supplies.


Experience and Skills:

Education:

  • High school diploma

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 2 years’ experience of administrative experience
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods in performance of job duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written forms
  • Ability to operate various office equipment including copy machine, fax machine, calculator and computer
  • General working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – primarily Word, Excel and Access
  • Must be capable of typing at a corrected rate of at least 40 wpm
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver inventory of at least 20 pounds
  • Must display professional attitude and maintain professional appearance
  • Must be able to deal with individuals of varying socio-economic background
  • Must communicate effectively with the staff and vendors
  • Must be capable of establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with coworkers, supervisor(s)
  • Must be punctual, dependable and responsible
  • Must have a professional appearance and disposition
  • Must be dependable and have a courteous, professional manner
